Join us at the ERUS-EAUN Robotic Urology Nursing Meeting

At this moment there is no harmonised training for nurses and RNFAs. The EAUN hopes to fill this gap with the 3-day ERUS-EAUN Robotic Urology Nursing Meeting.

With a high quality nurses programme on robotics we aim to be an educational platform for OR nurses and RNFAs working with robot-assisted urology surgery. The programme will include the latest research in this field of expertise and also look ahead at what the future will bring. This educational platform will offer theoretical in-depth knowledge and include hands-on training for robot-assisted urology surgery. By collaborating with the ERUS Meeting with a high standard in urological robotic care we will be able to provide an educational platform based on best practice.

The meeting is organised at the ‘Concertgebouw Bruges’ in Bruges, Belgium and takes place from 25 to 27 September, 2017.

The first day (Monday) will be theoretical and includes topics such as the role of an RNFA, RNFA training and education, trouble shooting, avoiding complications, anaesthesia, ethics and educational video presentations, to mention a few. On day 2 and 3 (Tuesday and WEdnesday) all delegates with a full registration will have full access to ERUS exhibition and live surgery sessions.

The hands-on training is aimed at junior operating room nurses aiming to expand their knowledge of the da Vinci robot and how to be an active bedside Operating Room Nurse and will be planned on Monday and Tuesday.  Places will be limited.
