Important instructions for abstract presentations
Please be aware that due to the virtual format of the meeting this year, the abstracts selected for presentation will be presented with slides only (except video abstracts, which will be presented by the video).
Four prizes will be given to the best Abstract presentations. The first prize is awarded with 500€ and 250€ for the second prize for each category (Best Scientific Abstract Presentation & Best Practice-development Abstract Presentation). Prize winners will receive their prize during the online award session. If they have compelling reasons not to accept their prize personally, the prize will be accepted on their behalf by a Scientific Committee member.
- Introduction by chairmen
- Presentations (short presentation and short discussion per presenter)
An abstract session is an interactive discussion. The abstract presenters will give a short pre-recorded presentation of their abstract (max. 3 minutes) with slides, followed by a short live interactive discussion (max. 1 minute). Video abstracts will be presented with a video instead of slides.
Abstract presenters prepare max. 6 slides (including title and Conflict of Interest). The slides will be posted in the Resource Centre after the meeting. You are requested to download the EAUN21 PowerPoint template from the EAU(N) faculty website.
Presenters should upload their finished slides through the EAU(N) faculty website (dates t.b.a.). This will enable the chairs to prepare for the session.
Due to the virtual format of the meeting, you do not need to create a poster.
Accepted videos will be shown by the presenter in the virtual meeting room during Abstract Session 2, in maximum 9 minutes, followed by 1 minute of live discussion. If the nurse is not visible in the video, the presenter should narrate the nursing role during playing the video.
The aim of this session is to showcase practices by nurses to other fellow urology nurses e.g. what has been achieved and fine-tuned in specific areas. It will also be an occasion to ask fellow nurses on how they overcame situations that may still occur in other emerging clinical nursing practices.
The Expert-guided Poster Tour has been cancelled due to the virtual format of the meeting.
