ESNO Webinar: Mobilising Nursing Intelligence in Digital Health Transformation
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of ESNO, I would like to warmly invite you to join our upcoming webinar:
“Mobilising Nursing Intelligence in Digital Health Transformation”
Date: 15 April 2026
Time: 14:00 – 15:30 CET (90 minutes)
This session places nurses where they belong in the digital transition of healthcare, not as end users, but as co-creators, decision-makers, and drivers of implementation. As digital health continues to reshape our systems, it becomes essential that nursing intelligence is recognised, positioned, and actively engaged at both practice and policy levels.
We are honoured to welcome a strong panel of contributors bringing perspectives from policy, academia, clinical practice, and innovation:
- Katarzyna Ptak Bufkens, European Commission, DG SANTE
- Siobhán O’Connor, King’s College London
- Artur Olesch, Global Health IT Strategist
- Celeste Greenbaum and Benjamin Gouba, Philips USA
The webinar will explore how nurses contribute to digital health as co-designers and implementers, and how this impacts patient outcomes and everyday practice. It will also reflect on leadership, competencies, and digital literacy, while addressing barriers and enabling factors within health systems. Importantly, the discussion will connect to value-based care and the broader positioning of nurses in shaping sustainable healthcare.
This is not a standalone conversation. The insights gathered will directly contribute to the ESNO Digital Health Hackathon taking place during the ESNO Congress in Rome on 4 June 2026, where we aim to move from dialogue to concrete actions.

Your voice and experience are essential in this discussion. We strongly encourage you to join, contribute, and share this invitation within your networks. Looking forward to meeting you in this webinar.
